A neighborhood yard sale (33 homes), with proceeds donated to Roses and Rosemary, to support orphans in Africa!  Items for sale include: furniture, 2 new twin mattresses, framed art, and much, much more!

Come join us on Saturday, May 31st for a yard sale to benefit the HIV-positive orphans of Africa!  When you make a purchase, you will know that the money is going to a good cause--a portion of the proceeds will go towards saving the life of an HIV-positive orphan in Africa!  

Besides, you'll be helping your neighbors make their closets and garage clutter-free!

Yard Sales for Orphans Program

Whether you are selling your goods online through a retailer such as E-Bay or holding a traditional neighborhood event, Yard Sale for HIV Orphans is an excellent occasion to clean out your basements, garages, and closets in order to benefit orphans overseas. Simply designate a percentage of the proceeds that you would like to donate, and if you hold a neighborhood event, we can provide you with a Roses and Rosemary poster along with additional information about our organization and our impact in Africa. 

Tax Deduction- Invoice

Roses and Rosemary will provide each household a tax invoice that can be used for Federal Tax Reporting. Roses and Rosemary is a 501 © (3) organization, gifts to which are deducible as charitable contributions for federal income purposes.

Gift for Each Household

As a token of appreciation each household will receive a hand gift (brooch) from Africa. In addition, households can sell these brooches or give them to buyers who send over a certain amount. 

Yard Sale Sign

Roses and Rosemary will provide each household a set of pre-printed Yard Sale Signs – the template can also be downloaded form our website. Households can the fill them with the start time, address, and item information. There is also a box on the sign for households to enter the % of proceeds that they wish to donate to charity.
